Darin's mom only asked one thing of his father before she agreed to marry him. She wanted him to give up racing and he eventually did. Then, Darin was born...

Darin started racing BMX bicycles at the age of 3. All the boys do that mom! But, it wasn't long before Darin picked up 2 more wheels and a Briggs alcohol fueled engine and he was racing gokarts at 9 years old!

Honorable man that he is, dad stayed true to his word and never raced again and he always went to the track with Darin so his mom wouldn't worry about him either.

You could say it was probably pointless to try and stop him, racing was already in Darin's blood. Like father - like son, Darin is a racer.

Darin will drive anything you put him in and when he does he will drive it to it's limit. Sometimes, and that's probably more often than not, he will drive it a little bit beyond. Still, despite all the help he's gotten from people along the away, he's never taken it for granted. He always does his best to take care of his equipment so he can race again... As soon as possible!

The hardest people's respect to gain is the other drivers on the track but Darin doesn't have any trouble with that at all. Upon entering the pits its often Darin who the other drivers look for and on the track he's the driver they watch. The younger racers want to be just like him when they grow up and the older racers wish they'd had his focus when they were young. Everybody else thinks he's kinda strange... (Just kidding!)

Darin has had a few opportunities to drive race cars other than the Legends and the gokarts that he currently drives and it's certain that he will have many more chances to move up in the future. He's got his sights set on a Modified or Late Model but sponsorship is always the key so if you have a business you would like to promote through out the state of Florida or if you would just like to be a part of a solid racing effort, Darin would be a good place to put your money. Sponsorship Opportunities are always available. Or, if you have a race car that needs the dust blown off of it and that you would like to see running a little further up front, Darin is always ready to do his part to help you make that happen.
